The government “strongly” advises against travel to “red” and “scarlet red” countries where the Omicron variant has been spotted.

Between the rapid rise of the 5th wave of covid and the emergence of the Omnicon variant which has caused new restrictions for travelers in many countries, the French are wondering if they will indeed be able to leave for the Christmas holidays, especially abroad.

On the set of 4 truths this Friday, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, Secretary of State for Tourism is reassuring: “We can leave as soon as we continue to be all responsible. We must be extra vigilant in respecting barrier gestures, in the fact of recalling when one is eligible, all the reflexes that one has acquired “.

At the same time, the government has revised the rules for travel to and from abroad which come into effect from December 4.

Thus, the classification of countries, defined on the basis of health indicators has evolved, with the addition of a “scarlet red” country classification (i.e. particularly active circulation of the virus and / or discovery of a variant likely to present a risk of increased transmissibility or immune escape).

Classification of countries as of December 3
Classification of countries on December 3 © Ministry of the Interior

France “strongly” advises not to travel to “red” and “scarlet” countries, namely Brazil, Russia, South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini, Mauritius, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Pakistan and Afghanistan. But don’t forbid it.

To go to a country classified as “green”

Travel is possible for the vaccinated and the unvaccinated but the rules differ depending on the country of destination (test required on boarding, test required on arrival, quarantine)

To go to a country classified as “orange” and “red”

Complete proof of vaccination is required for travelers, and tests (before or after travel) may be requested (systematic in the United States for example and the test should be carried out the day before departure), as can a quarantine according to the rules of the countries of destination.

For the unvaccinated, a compelling reason (the lists are different according to the classification of the countries) is necessary as well as a negative test carried out less than 48 hours before the departure. Random testing on arrival may be requested.

To go to a country classified as “scarlet red”

With or without proof of vaccination, it will be necessary to have a compelling reason to go to one of the countries on the list. Tests (before or after the trip) may be requested, as can a quarantine according to the rules of the countries of destination.

Go back to France

From now on, anyone entering French territory must present a negative PCR or antigen test of less than 24 hours (from the “scarlet red” countries and the United Kingdom) or 48 hours (“green”, “orange” and “red” countries) .

The only exception is that people with a complete vaccination schedule do not have to take a test when they arrive from a Member State of the European Union, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, the Holy See or Switzerland.

Since the “scarlet red” countries are added to the arrival in France, in the event of a positive test, an isolation measure of 10 days in a place determined by the representative of the State in the department will be pronounced, after examination of the individual situation, and controlled by the internal security forces.

Lhe first volume has already been reprinted and we can imagine that the second, recently published by Gallimard, will quickly meet the same fate. Not without reason: the result is splendid (and really ideal as a Christmas present)! Illustrated by MinaLima, Harry Potter becomes even more magical. To speak of illustration is, moreover, a euphemism for these book-objects with interactive animations as abundant as the shops on Chemin de Diagon Alley. Graphic designers of the universe of the little wizard since his beginnings in the cinema, Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima continue their work of creation in the service, this time, of reading. Because the least we can say is that their collection of “Illustrated Classics” (besides Harry Potter, wonderful versions of Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan and The jungle Book are to be discovered at Flammarion) makes you really want to dive back into these famous texts. And we say to ourselves, going through their pages full of surprises and winks, that the duo MinaLima may have invented a new printed language …

Le Point Pop: How did you come to work together?
Eduardo Lima: The day I met Mira, on the set of the second Harry Potter, it was as if we had always known each other. We met through a mutual friend who gave me his contact when I moved to London. Mira invited me on the set, gave me a job and… we never left each other.
Miraphora Mina : I was working freelance at the time with a production designer. When he was hired on Harry Potter, he took his team. We thought it would be a maximum for 5-6 months!

And 20 years later, you are still exploring the world of the little wizard! How to avoid repeating yourself when it comes to illustrating the books?
Mina: We have learned over the years that there are many ways to visually tell this story. The source material is so good, its spine so solid, its roots so deep that we can derive a lot of different interpretations. But the “glue” that allows us to maintain consistency between all of these creative layers is the visual language that we created from the start and that we now speak fluently.
Lima : But it is true that to create these first two volumes illustrated with Harry Potter, we had to completely forget what we had done on the films and have a new vision of things. Sometimes it was particularly hard, like the scene where we discover Hogwarts for the first time: the Hogwarts of the movies is so iconic that it was difficult to pull away from it. But the one we finally created is also worth a detour!

How do you define what you do? Would you say you are graphic designers? Illustrators?
Mina: We see ourselves as designers. It’s a bit general, but illustrator would be insufficient. We don’t just provide illustrations to a publisher, we literally “build” our books. We also speak of their “architecture”. The fifteen designers who work at the MinaLima studios have to design things for films as well as for amusement parks or communication campaigns.
Lima : But at the same time, we are not graphic designers in the traditional sense of the term. No need to come see us to create your logo or business card! If it’s for fiction, okay, but otherwise we’d be terrible! I would say that we are kind of “story designers”.

What is your working method when designing this kind of object-book?
Lima : It is the same as for the movies. The first day, we read the script and we establish, scene by scene, the list of all the props that must be created. For books, it’s the same: we read the text and determine all the passages that require an illustration. We try to find things that no one has ever illustrated. And then we map the book.
Mina: We really create a map, with places reserved for such and such an illustration, such or such interactive object.
Lima : And you have to do it fast enough so that the publisher knows how many pages the book will make and how much it will cost him (laughs). But these books are like mini-films of which we are the directors and producers!

Speaking of cost, have you ever given up on an idea because it was too expensive to make?
Mina: It is the publisher who decides. It may happen that he asks us to put certain things aside.
Lima : It is true that for the films, we did not have to ask the question of the budget, the means were enormous. But there, we had to stay in the nails because we did not want the books to become too expensive and inaccessible. But as the publications and successes, we have more leeway.
Mina: For Peter Pan, which is the first of the illustrated classics that we launched, we had much less gold! We can use more and more (laughs)!

How long does it take you to create one of these books?
Mina: The checkout process takes at least 5-6 weeks. And then production can take up to a year.

Will you illustrate all Harry Potter ?
Lima : We do not know yet. It is certain that the question of the increasing length of the books arises, it will perhaps be necessary to divide certain volumes in two… Everything will depend on the sales, I suppose!

Were you more creatively free on movies or on books Harry Potter ?
Mina: In a way, on the books we have 100% control, even if we have to get everything approved by JK Rowling’s teams. But let’s say that the finished product corresponds to us 100%, whereas for the films we could in the end only find on the screen 1% of our work. Likewise, the reader is freer than the spectator since he can decide how he wants to interact with his book, how much time he wants to devote to it, etc. It is not subject to the decisions of a director or editor.

What was your biggest challenge when creating these different books?
Mina: In fact, what was new for us was that we had to think of everything. Unlike the films where we only had the objects to create, for the books we had to think about the costumes, the sets, the physical appearance of the characters…
Lima : And then with each book, we try to push the limits, to do something even more inventive.
Mina: But at the same time, we don’t want to compete with “Pop Up books”, what we’re doing is something else.

In a way, you are creating a new kind of books … that will get some people back to reading?
Mina: I hope so. If pictures help people fit into a book, then let’s take advantage of it. In these books, the image counts as much as the text, and it is together that they create a new form of magic. My niece can’t read yet, yet she was drawn to these books. No matter how you get to the book, what matters is getting into it.
Lima : When we started publishing Peter Pan, it was a time when all publishers were very worried about the rise of the digital book and feared that the paper book would disappear. But, luckily, that will never happen. And that’s also why we have to make these kinds of books: so that people fall in love with the book again as a tangible object.
Mina: It’s a bit like adding an extra dimension to the book, like literally bringing it to life. And it has to be fun too! I think children’s books today are sometimes a little too serious, like they’re afraid of being too crazy. But when we take Peter Pan or Andersen’s tales, there’s something completely crazy about these stories, and that’s what makes them so tasty.
Lima : We designed these books so that children can have a great reading experience. But it’s an experience that can speak to anyone. We also realized that many buyers of these books are adults!

Since November 1, 2021, companies have not more to provide kbis extract in many administrative procedures. This is a real simplification of life for companies driven by the PACTE law in 2019 and confirmed by decree on May 21, 2021. Overview.

What is Kbis?

L’Kbis extract represents the “ID card»Of a company registered in the Trade and Companies Register (RCS). This is the only official document attesting to the legality of the company. It includes a wealth of information on:

End of the Kbis for certain administrative procedures since November 1, 2021.

Do you want to start your own business?

End of kbis for certain administrative procedures

Decrees known as “Kbis decrees” published on May 22, 2021 (1), have removed the obligation to present a registration extract to the trade and companies register (RCS) or to the trades directory (RM) in their administrative procedures. This deletion is confirmed by 3 decrees recently published in October and November. (2).

👉 Since November 1, companies must simply communicate their SIREN number in place. Thanks to this number, administrations can now collect data relating to the company on the website https://annuaire-entreprises.data.gouv.fr/.

📌 A noter :

  • micro-entrepreneurs are exempt from providing a K extract;

  • commercial companies are exempt from providing a Kbis;

  • craft businesses are exempt from providing a D1.

The SIREN is awarded by INSEE (National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies) on the occasion of the registration of the company in its database. Composed of 9 digits, it identifies each company to the administration.

Administrative procedures concerned

The measure affects dozens of administrative procedures in the fields of ecology, sustainable development, transport, energy and housing.

We offer a non-exhaustive list of the procedures concerned:

  • candidacy for a public market;
  • request for the opening of a conciliation procedure with the president of the tribunal;
  • request for the opening of the safeguard proceedings or of the main or secondary insolvency proceedings filed with the registry of the competent court;
  • request for the opening of judicial reorganization or liquidation proceedings filed with the registry of the competent court;
  • application for a commercial exploitation permit;
  • authorization to open a retail business;
  • request for authorization addressed to the prefect to carry out personal service activities;
  • etc.

📌 A noter :

  • micro-entrepreneurs are exempt from providing a K extract;

  • commercial companies are exempt from providing a Kbis;

JUSTICE – Do you recognize his face? Joël Soudron, suspected of being an international cocaine trafficker, is the most wanted man in France and is one of the sixty “Most Wanted” faces of Europol broadcast everywhere since Friday, December 3.

This 42-year-old man also called Max Bernard Honorat Dalon or Jamal Kane, originally from Guadeloupe, is described by investigators from the National Fugitive Search Brigade (BNRF) as an international trafficker, “very discreet, thoughtful” benefiting from a “disproportionate financial surface”.

The police had managed to trace it back to him in 2011 thanks to the discovery at the port of Le Havre of 230 kg of cocaine from Guadeloupe. Investigators then identified the shipping company, in whose premises they seized 270 kg of cocaine and 280,000 euros in cash. In total, according to the world, the goods amounted to between 20 million and 30 million euros. Joël Soudron is then considered to be the head of the network.

Joël Soudron has invested a lot, according to investigators, in the legal economy in French-speaking Africa to launder traffic money, constantly traveling between different countries and Guadeloupe.

An escape in 2018

In February 2016, he was arrested in Mali and then jailed to serve a six-year prison sentence for another narcotics case dating from 2002 in which he was convicted in France.

In September 2018, he took advantage of an exit permit to escape. Very discreet, Joël Soudron does not have a rowdy run unlike other traffickers who are not afraid to appear on social networks to show off their wealth.

Since then, his trace has been lost. “He is unlikely to reside in Europe. On the other hand, we are looking towards Africa, where its financial interests have enabled it to acquire an extraordinary financial capacity ”, indicates the national brigade of search for fugitives in World. In particular, he would have spent time in Senegal just after his escape and would have planned to build commercial premises, offices and housing.

Investigators hope that Europol’s “Most Wanted” with the dissemination of photos of the fugitives and the opening of a dedicated site (www.euromostwanted.eu) will allow information to be gathered to locate them.

Two other French fugitives appear in this list of the European police agency which includes 60 names including 2 of women.

The first, Karim Ouali, is a former air traffic controller wanted for the savage ax murder of one of his colleagues in 2011 at Basel-Mulhouse airport. He was recently located in Hong Kong, where the authorities remain deaf to the demands of French justice.

The second, Farouk Hachi, alias “Mosquito”, was sentenced in absentia to 20 years in prison in 2009 for several bank robberies and could be between Belgium, the Netherlands and the north of France.

SIMON Gregson was bullied on the set of Coronation Street by “jealous” co-stars, according to actress Beverley Callard.

The Steve McDonald actor infuriated his colleagues for being “so handsome” and “had all the girls.”

4

Simon – far right – was 15 when he joined Corrie

Beverley, who played her onscreen mother Liz, said on Loose Women that she supported Simon during his early years on the hit soap opera.

She said, “All the girls loved him, so he was really intimidated by the boys. There was a bit of jealousy on the part of his peers.

“We helped him, Charles who played Jim and I, we helped him with everything, absolutely everything. “

As a teenager, Simon was severely bullied because of his role and for being a beautiful TV star.

He hosted by Ant and Dec: “It was difficult for a while to adjust. It’s not what I planned for me and I don’t like it. “

Simon, 47, was just 15 when he landed the role of Steve on the ITV1 soap opera, but he admits he initially “hated” the celebrity that accompanied him.

Opening up to his fellow campmates, the actor said he was physically assaulted, spat at him and viewers shouted curses at him.

Simon said: “It was difficult for a while to adjust. It’s like, ‘This is not what I planned for myself and I don’t like it’. “

Shocked, I’m A Celeb star Kadeena Cox asked him if he really didn’t like it.

” I hated! ” he said. “The celebrity side, I hated. It was really negative comments, getting beaten up, spitting on it, damaged property. “

As his campmates gasped, Simon added: “It was shocking. “

Simon was then shown speaking in The Telegraph, where he said, “I’ve never been a fan of the spotlight, but it turned out well in the end.

“I am here in a castle eating rice and beans!” “

Simon landed the role of Steve McDonald in 1989 and he has played the hapless character ever since.

The producers had visited his school in Stockport looking for people to play the teenage twins of the McDonald family.

His classmate Nicholas Marc Cochrane got the part of Andy McDonald and the bosses needed someone like him.

They looked for another class member with the same height, build, and hair color, with Simon the only student matching the bill.

Simon ended up changing his name, however, so as not to be confused with another actor who shared his full birth nickname.

The doctor points out that the Moderna vaccine “is a good vaccine”. But he denounces the fact that it is necessary “To sell the bottles of Moderna at the last moment, to realize at the last moment that the stocks of Moderna are going to be out of date. Only when you have a vial of Moderna, it’s either 20 or 24 doses with the right needles. than 24 doses of vaccination to fit into a consultation that is already full, it’s much more difficult than to fit seven doses. “ Olivier Véran “is right to say that there is no difference in efficiency, insists the doctor. But the problem is, there’s a hell of a difference between 7 and 24 people. “

Jean-Paul Hamon pleads for the ministry “can trust” to doctors. But he denounces the fact of having been “Warned at the last moment. If these people worked in a large company, the managers would be fired a long time ago.”
